This May will see the return of Dutch electronica master / video director David Douglas to Atomnation for his forthcoming album Moon Observations, a natural continuation of 2012's EP Royal Horticultural Society. With its powdery blocks of chords and swathes of treated vocals, first single “Higher” gained support by Pitchfork, Xlr8r, Electronic Beats, THUMP, 3voor12, BBC e.a; hailed because of the funkiness, porous synths and the slow-building atmosphere.
