Recorded directly to the lathe cut, this pair of spontaneous creations teams two Berlin-based horn players with two New Yorkers of broad-ranging vision. For their fifth release on ESP Talibam! (Matt Mottel and Kevin Shea) are joined by Nikolaus Neuser and Silke Eberhard who is the recipient of the prestigious 2020 Jazzprize Berlin. Twice she has been awarded a spot in the 'Rising Star Alto Saxophone' category in the Downbeat Critics poll. This is a limited edition of 500 vinyl LPs featuring artwork by the late New York poet/collage artist Steve Dalachinsky.
