Nach 15 Jahren an der Spitze des international erfolgreichen Idan Raichel Projects besinnt sich Idan Raichel nun auf die pure Essenz seiner Songs und ist 2016 / 2017 auch auf Solo-Tour gegangen, auf der er sich selbst nur am Klavier begleitet hat und die Songs bzw. die Geschichten dahinter so präsentiert hat, wie sie ursprünglich entstanden sind. Cumbancha präsentiert nun eine Auswahl daraus auf Doppel-CD mit 36 Songs, inklusive neuer Studio Versionen, zwei neuer Versionen von Raichel-Klassikern in Orchester Begleitung und zwei bisher unveröffentlichter Kompositionen, darunter das fesselnde "Lisloach Ve’Lishkoach (To Forgive and to Forget)". Idan Raichel performed his intimate solo piano concerts for rapturous audiences in New York, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Rome, Rio and many more.
