Die vier Mitglieder der schwedischen Familien-Band KOLONIEN, die Brüdern Erik und Arvid Rasad, ihre Cousine Anna Möller und das Nachbarskind (Brother from another Mother) Mischa Grind, sind gemeinsam in einer Art alternativen Kommune aufgewachsen. Ihre Musik ist eine Mischung aus traditioneller schwedischer Folklore und Singalong Pop. Damit stehen sie an der Spitze des schwedischen Folk-Revivals. Mit ihren wunderbaren akustischen Arrangements und Gesangsharmonien müssen sie sich auch nicht hinter internationalen Acts wie Mumford & Suns, Of Monsters and Men oder den Fleet Foxes, mit denen sie gerne verglichen werden, verstecken. Ihr Album "Till Skogen" erscheint nun auch als Vinyl-LP im Klappcovr mit Insert.
Till Skogen is the story of four friends, a family and a place. It is music dedicated to the band's homeland and the forest outside the farm where the family grew up. It’s about the importance of those places in people’s lives. How human memories and experiences are stored in the surroundings around us. Since their previous album Dro¨mmarnas Land was released in 2015, Kolonien’s oldest relatives have passed away, and new lives have been created. The course of life and time has made itself clear.
