Details

Das Redskins-Debütalbum „Neither Washington Nor Moscow" wurde vor kurzem 35 Jahre alt und wird nun zum ersten Mal als Deluxe-Reissue remastered auf London Records wiederveröffenticht. Als 180 g LP Gatefold & als 4 CD Boxset. Das 4 CD-Set enthält 54 zusätzliche Tracks - eine umfassende Audio-Historie der Band. Mit ihrer typischen Mischung aus Punk und nordischem Soul zitierte der Leadsänger und Gitarrist Chris Dean einmal seinen Ehrgeiz der Band, „zu singen wie The Supremes mit der Attitüde von The Clash“. Geliebt von John Peel und Billy Bragg enthält das Album die Singles "Lean On Me", "Bring It On Down" und "Kick Over The Statues". Als bekannte Mitglieder der Social Workers Party bleibt die Politik der Band heute wie damals aktuell.
