A Fistful of Desert Blues

What began in 1977 with TEENAGE JESUS AND THE JERKS, lives on in the dirty blues of her current band BIG SEXY NOISE. From a No Wave icon to muse of the underground-cinema, as spoken word pioneer or Chanteuse provocateur she has relentlessly sought new passionate collaborators. That’s also how her last project „Taste Our Voodoo“ with electronic artist PHILIPPE PETIT started – a collection of claustrophobic-dark soundscapes. For her current project the exceptional talent could get CYPRESS GROVE on board, an acoustic-blues-guitarist who already collaborated with greats like NICK CAVE, MARK LANEGAN, DEBBY HARRY und STEVE WYNN, initiator und producer of the “The Jeffrey Lee Pierce Sessions Project”.
