Perhaps. developed into an album out of Morley's desire to record the instruments he had been collecting for years. Late nights were spent laying down sketches of melodies and tones, he would return to the studio in the morning to edit and arrange. Unlike Logreybeam's previous albums where his process is to electronically mangle instruments beyond recognition, with Perhaps. he features the instrument and applies very few electronic effects. As themes developed a story was taking place and visions were forming. The sketches became compositions, and it evolved into the soundtrack to a movie that didn't exist.
