Self-Taught Magic from a Book

Von Jangle-Gitarren kann ich ja nie genug bekommen. Bands, die poppige Melodien in flirrende Gitarrensounds verpacken, finden bei mir immer in offenes Ohr - so auch Je Suis Animal, ein Quartett aus Oslo, das im Februar sein Debütalbum "Self taught magic from a book" veröffentlicht hat und Bands wie die Shop Assistants oder Talulah Gosh als Einflüsse auf ihrer Myspace-Seite aufzählt. C86 nannte man sowas Früher vermutlich, allerdings haben Je Suis Animal einen durchaus eigenständigen Stil zwischen Girl/Boy-Vocals und mal schrammeligen, mal atmosphärischen Gitarren, aber auch verspielten Stereolab-Elementen.
