CD im dreiteiligen, wunderschön gestalteten Digisleeve. Seit seinem Recordingdebüt 1947 nahm Piney Brown in den 50er Jahren für Labels wie King, Jubilee, Apollo, Parrot oder Atlas zahlreiche Songs in unterschiedlichen, meist seinen Namen tragenden Formationen auf. Der Sänger, der später mit Bo Diddley und Chuck Berry zusammen auftrat, schrieb Songs wie „The Popcorn“ (zusammen mit James Brown) und „Just Want a Little Bit“, welches wiederum später von Künstlern wie Little Milton, Freddie King, T-Bone Walker, Elvis Presley, The Animals und Slade gecovert werden sollte. Columbus S. Perry, so sein bürgerlicher Name, verstarb 2009 mit 87 Jahren in Ohio.
